Pat White, Franchise QB?

I believe he tops out around the mid-80s with his B potential. Weak deep throwing accuracy, arm strength won't improve any, but gets very high short accuracy (like, 95 I think it was)

Henne is in the mid 80's in year 6 of my franchise. I have Pat White on my team as the primary backup to a Madden generated starting QB and he is at a 78 with 86 or 87 speed. Mike Vick (who I had as a backup for the first five years) is a 68 overall in year 6, but he still has 90 speed. His accuracy is terrible, though. Pat White has good passing attributes for short and medium passing, but his long ball is low and his arm strength is in the upper 80's (I would guess 86 or 88 as I don't have the game on at the moment). Hope that info helps.

Thanks to everyone for the info. I'm currently doing ok with White mainly because I have Jackson toting the ball. If Jackson were to go down I think I'd be screwed. I only have three games of this franchise so far and have five rookie QBs that I am scouting, he's a fun player but it is difficult to pass to my WRs or to even break 150 yds passing. We'll see what happens.

Yea I found out its really difficult to pass with rookie quarterbacks even if they have really good accuracy and power ratings. I traded for and started Curtis Painter (Colts) and passing with him is like 10x harder than a veteran player with close to the same arm ratings. This is probably due to the difference in awareness but I'm not sure.
