Easiest way to get best rookies

This system has been working great for me and by like year 7 i had put together a team that will win the superbowl every year when i sim it.

All you have to do is go to scouting and write down on a piece of paper the best 20 or so players by their potential then just draft the best avaliable player. the worst players i ever came out with were B potential. Another thing to make your franchise great is by trading away great veterans in their early 30's for 1st or 2nd year players who you can see will be good. lets say you have a 95 overall 30 year old QB. if you trade him for a 22 year old 83 overall player you will be getting an extra 8 years for his career plus he will be in the 90's in a year or 2.

How do you know what their potential is though? I don't think you can see that until they are actually on your team.

If you scout them you can see there potential ratings. I am not sure how much the scouting team you buy has to do with the accuracy. You will end up with all A guys in every round doing that.

Maybe it depends on the scouting crew you use? I scouted, and fully scouted them (4 to 6 weeks depending on position) and never once saw their potential. What Scouting Agency did you use?

It won't give you the actual potential grade but it has that potential bar that you can use.

I really don't like the implementation of potential in M10...even for players that I've drafted. I'd rather somewhat see the play on the field indicate the potential of a player. I haven't given Head Coach a serious try, but I hear they have a great system in that game.

Re: Easiest way to get best rookies

I didn't realize the potential charted to a an A, B, C, D, F grade. I thought it only related to their abilities, meaning how good the player could be at the start. Interesting.
