Re: Throw Power and Throw Accuracy

well I got a offensive coordinator that upped my rookie QBs throw accuracy by 3 in his second year. Throw Power shouldn't increase much though, while accuracy definitely does.

Same here.

For franchise play, when I pick a backup QB, I typically look for accuracy, as opposed to power, as I'll be focused on short / mid passes and not really looking to air it out. For short / mid passes, power isn't that important.

Re: Throw Power and Throw Accuracy

"Throw accuracy" is a rating they forget to remove from the game. It doesn't actually do anything. Only S/M/D accuracy matters. As for TP, it shouldn't go up as it doesn't IRL.

Your THA is an average from all your S/M/D/R accuracy.

no it isnt i seen some QBs with a THA of 85 with a smd of 75 74 65

it is a useless rating even the developers admitted it.

Re: Throw Power and Throw Accuracy

When I say throwing accuracy, I mean short, medium, and deep. I don't know if the TA is actually an average now. Will have to check if I ever fire Madden 10 up again. Maybe after the 2nd patch drops.

^ What he said. Doesn't mean anything, only pay attention to Short, Medium, and Deep accuracy ratings.
