DE Swim Moves & Power Moves

Any reason to why these were taken out of the game? To my knowledge the only thing I can do on the line is jump & accelerate towards the passer.

Thanks in advance,
Justin

Edit - should be D-Line, not just DE.

Re: DE Swim Moves & Power Moves

Madden's manuals are designed by 5 year olds. They've barely updated them since Madden 94.

I remember last year, people were complaining that these gastly blue squares kept appearing whenever they scored a TD.
Not a word about them being celebration zones in the manual.

I can confirm the Defensive line moves have been moved to the stick now... once again not a word in the manual as to this change nor which direction each move produces on the stick.

It's almost like they create the manual for themselves, forgetting that the public haven't been playing the game for 3 months like themselves or know the details of changes they make.

Re: DE Swim Moves & Power Moves

yup, the instruction booklet is terrible. The only thing worse is the in-game controller layout that lists the R-Stick as having no function while engaged on D. Utterly ridiculous.

Why would EA keep these things a mystery. Why not at least tell your customers how to play the game. sad.

Re: DE Swim Moves & Power Moves

Half the people would stop complaining if they told us how the game works.

What does this button do? How do i assign defensive assignments? How do sliders work? Formation subs? Auto Subs?

wtf? theres so much. If you aren't a religious madden follower, you wouldn't have a clue how to play. Thats why people don't play madden, coz they don't know how too!.
