All pro vs My Skill poll

I tried My Skill and a quarter of the way through the season as I'm getting shut down by the Tampa Bay Bucs I realize it has nothing to do with the team I'm facing. I'm playing against my past performance and slider settings not the Bucs.


All Pro for me.

Yea, when the Lions started carving me up, I knew that it must be My Skill, lol.

Some people like the absolute toughest challenge from every team, not just the elite. Maybe My Skill is right for those people. I like sliders that give me tough games or the CPU beats me when I play teams the same or better than me (with an occasional upset when I play poorly against a lesser team), but not scrub teams playing with robo QB performances, if you know what I mean. That was easy to find with NFL 2K5 (whoops mentioned "it that will not be named" by name), but not so much with Madden since this new generation of consoles. For the life of me, I still can't figure out why the old generation Maddens played so much better.

Off subject here sort of, but the Madden team needs to focus on OL/DL interaction. That will be the key to a real next generation Madden experience. That has never been implemented (correctly).

I used MySkill exclusively the first month I had the game and overall enjoyed the experience but eventually, the IQ works against you. It's frustrating b/c it seems that no matter what you do, it's pre-determined that you are losing, no matter who you face.

I then tried All-Pro but found it a bit too easy, so I've now got all 4 sliders at 14 and am enjoying the game again.
