Re: What's your favorite offensive move?

For me, it's the L Stick jukes. I love getting a delayed hand-off and just shifting my HB's feet while I find a hole. Feels so nice when you finally find one and the HB plants his feet and cuts back nicely and all of a sudden is taking it to the house.

Second favorite is the R stick down for me. Nothing feels better when I'm playing online against a guy that abuses the hit stick and I give him a R Stick down and he just lunges with the hit stick and misses completely.

I almost wish I could switch my vote to QB evades.. just played a game where I had like 5 with Big Ben!

What's the best move to avoid hitsticks? Sometimes when I'm in the open field it feels inevitable I'm going to get hit. Even when I lay off turbo it seems like I can't turn to avoid the big hit sometimes.

I'll figure it out.. sometimes a spin move does the trick.

I like using the combo of juke/spin mixed with a side of speed.I roll with the Texans and those moves are very effective,of course if I'm going off tackle or dive i just lower the shoulder.Really it just depends on who has the ball.If Andre Johnson has the rock I'm gonna use stiff arm and shoulder charge.

*coughs*before he got hurt for the season(in ACQB M10 LEAGUE) Steve Slaton had a mean juke move to avoid hitsticks.....*coughs again*

Re: What's your favorite offensive move?

I'm a big fan of the stiff arm. It took me a bit to get the timing down--as you say, you have to do it earlier than you'd think. But it can work wonders for creating just that little bit of separation needed to get good body lean and make a broken tackle possible.

Ronnie Brown has a really nice set of small jukes with the L-stick as well that I like a lot. He can get pretty squirrely, even in tight spaces.

Re: What's your favorite offensive move?

I wish they would do away with the juke button and just make it all dependent on the left stick.

Too many times I'll accidentally do 2 or 3 jukes in succession when I only meant to do 1.

That way you could have the right stick remapped to:

Quote:
up: truck
down: cover ball
left: stiff arm left
right: stiff arm right
But I guess then they couldn't list "highlight stick" as one of their "back of the box" features.

The "cut moves" from last gen!!!

Without a doubt the change in the control layout is one of the worst mistakes ever! the last gen controls made more sense - were more intuitive - and I can't tell you how many times I see quick cuts on "Sundays" that you can't reproduce in Madden with the new controls!!!!
