In a game today, I had about 17 seconds on the clock at the end of the 2nd quarter and kicked a squib kick. The ball went down the field, further than I had seen a squib kick go before, stopping somewhere around the 15 yard line landing right at the feet of a player.

Sounds good right?

Only problem is the player just stood there! He never moved. Not even a little. Just stood there!

The rest of the team ran up field in an attempt to block for him, but the return man never picked up the ball!

My guys ran down the field, picked up the ball, allowing me to kick a free FG with 2 seconds left on the clock! lol

It has to be the downright strangest thing I have seen in the game thus far. Has anyone else experienced this?

yea, I actually experienced it in the demo. I thought, eh, it's the demo it won't make it in the actual game.

I had a weird play happen to me today, too:

CPU Bret Favre pitches the ball to Adrian Peterson on a toss play...nothing suspect there, except for the fact that the pitch flies by Peterson and goes about 20 yards behind him!

Peterson then ran back and fell on the ball for a loss of 22 on the play!

First time I have ever seen a missed toss in this game, but I thought it was funny how the toss just took off and went like 20 yards backwards.

That happened to me the other day to... With the same players, Weird...

never seen that. i've seen it bounce right by the returner, but he turned around and picked it up.
