I don't think he's saying Russell should be great, but that he doesn't hit defenders in the hands on every bad ball he throws.

For his short career, he's thrown 21 picks in 28 games. Over 16 games that rate would be only 12 INTs.

However, he's completed only 51% of his passes in his career.

Madden has a hard time with QBs that don't throw a lot of completions or picks. Russel just throws uncatchable balls, both for his receivers and defenders.

I belive he may be the lowest rated qb to start in Madden history!

I think Quincy Carter was at least 70 sumthin. Anyway, you could lower the int sliders, so the dbs just don't catch everything that come to them and/or raise qb acc closer to default.

Yea it's ridiculous when even a lower rated QB has a beautiful pocket, and steps into the throw nicely and the ball is more than 10 yard away and picked by the safety on the other side of the field.

Are you trying to lead throws with him?

Bad QBs can't use the lead throw feature in this game.

You just have to rely on the built in "auto-lead."

No. Nothing I did causes some of these balls to be thrown the way they are. They are inexplicably thrown to a defender....I'm talking about right to a defender who is nowhere near the player I'm throwing to.

I've also seen this happen to some mediocre QB's as well (at least once a game).

Yeah I play with Stafford for Detroit and anytime I see a throw like this, it's usually because I tried to lead the receiver instead of letting the auto-lead do its thing.

I guess some QBs in this game are just so bad that they miss throws without even trying to make a lead pass.

I think bullet passes beyond 10 yards are generally more inaccurate than taking a little bit off of it. That could help also. The "nice and easy" approach lol!

I disagree with this. This is true in past Maddens during this generation, but M10 has plenty of incomplete passes. I just feel like some are WAY off the mark.
