Okay...in Franchise Mode. If I trade someone who doesn't have a bonus, I won't be charged with a Cap Hit in the Off-Season...correct? I'm trying to clarify this before I make some moves. Thanks.

Yea, $0K signing bonus means no cap hit when traded. If you want to find out what your cap hits would be, go to release player and it will say are you sure you will receive (whatever amount) cap hit. That's the same cap hit you would get for trading the player as well.
