2 questions: does weight matter? Okoye or Okafor?

hey, i've always used speed backs but am mixing it up and doing a franchise with a power guy.

so, does weight matter? i've read Okoye is like 260 pounds but does that make a difference?

Okafor has 94 speed vs. Okoye's 92, but who is a better back overall?

thanks.

I drafted Okoye the other night and use him as my 2nd string back as of right now behind Adrian Peterson. What a combo.. Okoye is great for break tackles and seems like a beast! Have not played with Okafor yet though.

Weight doesn't matter in madden.

I'd LOVE to get Okoye. Two drafts, though, and he hasn't shown up yet. I'm dying to grab him, and pretend he's the son of the great Nigerian Nightmare. Sure hope he shows up in a draft soon...

Nope, weight and height don't affect player movement & momentum in Madden unfortunately. Hopefully in Madden 11 will address locomotion.

thanks. that's what i suspected.

all these guys are writing "Okoye is 260 pounds! he's a beast!" but it seems his, er, beastiality, is more a result of ratings rather than size.

thanks.

Yeah, his size really doesn't matter much, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it looked cool as hell to use a RB the size of a linemen.

I believe the word you're looking for is "beastliness" haha
