More than likely I'll buy Madden Reguardless because I accept it for what it is. A game that will never be perfect or please everyone.
However, there are a few things that I would like to see in M11 that would peak my interest, most of them can be found in the wishlist forum but my main one is
Expanded Roster's with working IR.

Unless I come on this board and read reviews that its near perfect, and that they conclude that there are no need for patches, and further conclude there will be no patches I will not be buying it new. Ive followed this franchise faithfully for 11 years. I know thats nothing compared to some but its enough for me.

I want to see a HC like franchise, because thats all I play really. I want to see the game play football. That means kneeling and running out the clock. That means calling the appropiate play, so I guess revamping the AI.

RATINGS, RATINGS, RATINGS!!! I want to be able to put a kicker on the O-line and not be able to get a pass off. I want Def playmaker back, the real def playmaker where there was shading for corners. I want more animations that make sense, not over the shoulder catches on every pass.

I want teams to play to their strengths, not every team feeling the same. The atmosphere is playoff games needs to revamped as with the Super Bowl. They need to bring back dynamic attendance. If youre blowing them out or your team has a horrible record, the stands dont need to be full and rocking.

I like this years Madden but the length of time that its taken this patch to be released has really put me off, and Im a 360 user so I still dont have it. I havent played this since sept. and that to me is unaccpetable. So I will not blindly go and buy this game until its finished and proper so that means when all patches are released,, or it being great out of the box. So if that means I buy it used next Dec than so be it

Let's see....

Major gameplay issues resolved
Franchise mode enhanced (HC09, anyone?)
Ratings actually meaning something - in fact, revamped ratings system would be nice... (if they must continue to use the current system, either make everything mean something or simplify it)

If those three things are much better than '10, I'll probably buy it. But... and this is a big but (pun intended)... I will absolutely rent it first and play it for a solid week before putting any real money down. I think 10 years in row of getting burned has finally taught me not to buy into the hype. Next year, I WILL resist the hype. I WILL resist the commercials. I WILL resist the blog entries. I WILL resist the fanboy giddiness. Right?

One thing people, not ten.

I want realistic blocking; I shouldn't have to slide CPU blocked to 100 to create a hole for the CPU player to run thru. In conjuction, I'm pleading for the devs to get rid of the suction-blocking; everytime I have clear line to the ball carrier or my LB gets thru the gap unscathed he's pulled 2 yds away to be blocked by a FB or LG when I'm an inch from making a tackle.

1.It has to be used, at least half of the price of the game new. I cant need to pay for online franchise either or any other mode I wish to play.

2. I need to see precision/route based passing, analog running, and every single old ps2 feature finally restored.

3. I cant be able to put kickers and punters on the oline without them getting absolutely destroyed.

4. No excessive sliding,warping, morphing players to get animations to play out.

5. Run blocking has to be at least comparable to the quality of APF.

6. Tom Hammond needs to be replaced.

7. The weird hitch step has to replaced with an actual fix for fatigue, pursuit angles or whatever that was for.

If I get these things in place, I might buy next year.

Billy Kundiff actually is quite possibly the best player in the NFL. He has not only blocked amazingly, but he has kicked every extra point and he even caught a **ing TD!
