Offline Franchise - resigning players question

I'm entering my fourth season with the Falcons. In the past two offseasons, I just simmed and let the CPU handle all trades and signings since I didn't have any key position players at the end of their contracts. Now I have a number of core players at the end of the contracts that I definitely want to keep. Is there a way for me to sign the 10-12 players I want to keep and let the CPU handle the rest? Or, is is all or nothing, i.e. if I sign any players manually, I have to do all of them?

Just go into the options and change re-sign players to CPU. You can still go ahead and sign the players you want and then simulate the rest.

Thanks. So, do I resign the players I want while its set to "User" and then reset it to CPU to simulate the rest, or can I manually resign who I want while its set to CPU and then simulate?

just leave it on cpu and you can sign who you want
