Could 2 People Play Online Franchise Head 2 Head On One Console?

Could 2 players play on the same console in online franchise against each other if both of them have the activation code to join an online franchise?

This is EXACTLY what I want but I dont think they put it in. Not in this or 2k10...I think it requires 2 PSN or Xbox Live accounts to be signed in at the same time. And atleast on PS3 I dont think that is possible. It is definitely possible on 360 but I still dont think madden supports it.

Question.
If 2 people want to play a Franchise head to head on one console,Why not just play an OFFline Franchise?

Also how many teams can 1 account control in an ONline Franchise?
If you can control 2 teams, that might be the way to go.

You could definately do this on the PS3, you just need to have two different PSN accounts.

.

I'm in an online franchise. My bro wants to join. We have 30/32 teams. It'll be boring if it's just me and him in an offline franchise.

The guy above is correct I believe.I have never tried it but someone said a time b4 that the accounts are assigned to the controlers. Not exactley sure how you do it but there is a topic on here somewhere about having 2 accounts .
