yeah that sucks, and unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about it but get into a sim style league with more users for some good competition. and its also the reason i can't play offline, theres no difficulty whatsoever

Not entirely true. You can make the game difficult if you're willing to let the CPU call your plays and not hot route / audible. This is the only way I play offline because one, it makes the game actually difficult, and two, it produces some fairly realistic results which is great for franchise style play.
