Cowboy's Franchise

I'm getting ready to start a franchise with Dallas, and I'm curious what players would you go after to improve the team. Who would you trade for them?

First order of business has to be to draft/trade for the future of your offensive line. Deciding whether or not you are going to stick with the 3-4 (highly recommend the 'predator' subset from the Jets playbook) or whether you are going to convert your defense.

Trading for another young corner (4th string) as anything is better than Cletis... Personally since I play similar to the Eagles in real life (mostly passing with a lot of screens and check downs) I have no qualms about dealing away Barber for another nice target in the passing game.

All in all. It depends on how you play.

Re: Cowboy's Franchise

I tell you one thing, I am on week 7 of my chise last week for trades, and Cardinals have Matt Leinart up for trade, I am thinking of trying to pick him up ASAP and releasing Jon Kitna. We do need another top tier receiver to compliment roy and austin, but I tell you what, Crayton has been my madden's Miles Austin of this year's dallas. 578 yards, and 6 td's in week 7. He has been explosive!

Re: Cowboy's Franchise

I play nearly all my games of Madden with Cowboys (and this is with my slider settings turned down in pass def and ints.), the biggest need i feel is in the secondary. Because when I play as the Eagles for instance I get way more picks.
