Any tips on running up the middle(dives) or running in between the tackles with default allpro ? It feels like even the worst defensive tackles are breaking off their blocks and making plays.

Do you guys hold sprint as soon you get the ball or read the lanes then sprint up.

Also , on the Line adjustment to Aggressive and Pinch , how does that effect RUNNING and PASSING ? I take it on passing , pinch is pinching the line and aggressive is going wide on the snap ?

Does it have effect on the running and if so , how ?

I use aggressive.

You really have to pay attention to where your line shifts their line, as well as keep an eye where they are lined up. Makes a huge difference.

I think shifting your line to the strong side will help you a lot. Switching players and fighting off your blocks to seal the corner would be a good strategy too

Definitely hold off on using the sprint button. I normally don't use it until I get back to the line of scrimmage. On tosses and sweeps I might use it before but it seems as soon as you hit the button the defense breaks blocks.

best way to run up the middle is off the right guard because he usually has a high Impact blocking rating.

well the best advise I can give you is
1. read the defence- are they stacking the line, blitzing playing zone? what r they doing because I dont care how good you are running up the gut into the teeth of the D is going to fail. If you see all out blitz then you should look for a quick pass

2. pick your gap before snaping the ball -where are you heading?
A B C gap ? Know what your doing before you snap it

3. read your line if your running A gap who on your line has the DT or Nose - pick the defender to watch snap the ball DONT EVER SPRINT

4. so your centre and Guard wash out the Nose tackle the hole is 5 yards wide sprint and use the RB talents to beat the LB's Smash them with power backs dance about with Scat backs

5. the Nose tackle is fighting off the block and getting into the backfield- if he comes thro the C-LG run to the RG and Vice versa
just remember a 2-3 yard gain is fine on first down

6 Dont Sprint in the backfield (i know ive said it already but its that important)

so to summerise DONT SPRINT read the D decide where your running to and who is the Guy on Defence to key off of -if your playing the Steelers just read Casey Hampton snap the ball what is happening in your gap is it stuffed is it open ? pick a hole and burst(sprint) through it read the next player (LBer) and dance or smash him

I tend to run tosses and counters out of the same formation as up the gut stuff more so in the second half tire out the defence and grind out the clock
