Min. per quarter for offline franchise

Whats up os? Like many of you, I just recently started my offline franchise (Bears). I started with 8 min. quarters and a 15 secnd AC runoff. I'm getting ok stats but I would like to compete with the rest of the league, so I want to increase the time. Would 10 min quarters and 20 second runoff give me better stats? What do you folks play on?


P.S. I play every game and I pass 60% of my plays

I play 15 minute quarters with 25 second runoff and get about 120-125 plays per game.

I play 10 min. /w 20 sec. accelerated clock, but only play vs. opponents with a better than .500 record, and only if the games still mean something (i.e. week 16 or 17 w/ homefield locked up = rest starters and sim)

My RB is the only player on the team that challenges for the league lead in anything (always play run-heavy)

i play 10min qtrs with 15sec runoff. i get about 55-60 plays a half. right on target by nfl standards. the only things youll never compete in is tackles, pancakes, punting (i dont care anyway), and fg's.

ive learned to not look at these becuz no matter what u do, you wont compete cuz the stat engine madden uses highly inflates these categories. if u play longer than 10mins you'll have too high everything else and prolly still wont come close in the over-inflated categories i named.

I've decide to do ten minute quarters w/ a 15 second runoff because I run my offensive plays kind of fast.
