Re: Franchise people, have you shelved madden 10?

I'm really enjoying the game. I didn't download Patch #2 because of the stats issue... I thought I would be done with tolerating 2000+ yard rushers yearly when I upgraded from Madden 06 to Madden 10. The gameplay is still fresh enough and I guess my "STiK sKiLLz" just aren't up to snuff because the only problems I have are with my completion% being too high. I've taken to controlling the road team for the 1st half and the home team for the 2nd half. Its been very fun getting a taste of every team and also going against the team I built in franchise mode while fixing the completion% problem. It sounds stupid but I suggest it to those needing a challenge or looking for a bit of a fix.

The stats are annoying, but they have never been good in any Madden to be honest. I'm having a fun time playing games and scouting as of now. I am user controlling all 32 teams and have implemented some coaching sliders developed by dfos81 over in the Slider Forum and have had fun games. I try not to pay much attention to the stats other than my own teams. I will admit this is pretty frustrating that the stat engine is so inflated and unrealistic, but I am enjoying Madden for the first time on current gen.

Yeah, the running stats and sacks really don't bother me that much. I play the game pretty much every day. In fact, its the only video game I ever buy, or play on a regular basis. Aside from maybe NCAA Football.

Yes I have...probably gonna trade it in. Franchise mode just does nothing for me anymore. Hoping next year they will improve it and finally fix IR, that's the only way I will buy Madden again.

No, actually. I thought I was going to get bored with it, but I'm still quite addicted for whatever reason.

I've already got three seasons in on my 'chise pre-patch #2. I shelved it only to resume my Head Coach 09 career from last year and finish that game's achievements up, then I will go back to Madden 10.

I did pop it in and play it after patch #2 and liked that I saw from the gameplay. I have very high hopes for Madden 11.

Exactly. Once NBA 2k10 came out, I don't think Madden has been in my 360.
