what team in your opinion has the best defense that gives you a hard time to score on?? I have the most trouble going up against the ravens d, but since madden is built all of speed don't know who have the best fastest/defense

any 3-4 with a good LOLB. Running the ball off-tackle (Power-O, Off Tackle, Stretch plays) is the bread and butter of my offense, but if I have to go up against a 3-4 with a good LOLB, my TE has to block him 1-on-1, and he just can't. Even with elite TEs who can block really well, the OLB sheds the block as soon as I pick a side to go around it (no turbo) and tackles me for a 0-1 yard gain. Going to the left is fine because my LT can handle a ROLB 1-on-1.

Also, special mention for the Chiefs D, because Tyson Jackson is apparently unblockable. I've had teams with elite OL that cannot block Jackson for more than 1 full second even with a double team, and not even 1/2 second in 1-on-1 blocking. I basically cannot run the ball to the right at all against the Chiefs or it's automatically a 2-3 yard loss.

I have to put in a good word for my Steeler D. They have all the tools to stifle the run, and with a few good blitzes you can really make things hard on your opponent.

Washington's D has some very powerful players also.

In Madden, the Cardinals have 2 great CB's on their defense. The Chargers and Eagles also have good CB combinations. Denver has a decent build also.

Overall, I don't see a dominant defense in M10 though.

This is going to sound crazy, though it really isnt but i have a very hard time against Cincy's D in Madden. Their DT Peko blows up plays in my backfield, they have young fast LB's and their CB's are studs.

lol in one franchise I made it to the playoffs and had to play against the Ravens and their defense in the wild card. Then I had to play the Steers and their defense in the divisional round. Then in the conference championship I had to play the Patriots and their defense. Then finally in the Super bowl I had to play the Packers and their defense. All the defenses were tough to beat, I think the Patriots and Steelers were toughest because they kept blitzing and they basiclly shut my running game down. The Packers were the easiest because I ignored their secondary and just ran alll over them. The Ravens were good but I was able to identify who was blitzing for the most part and was able to move the ball well against them.

Jets have excellent defensive pesonnel, and virtually all of their players are average when it comes to sheer speed.

Steelers, Vikings, Giants, Cowboys, Eagles and Ravens have the toughest D's in Madden in my experience. Troy Polamolu is the single toughest defender, but I guess he has to be since he's on the cover.
