EA Sports listen to the Commentary in these Week 17 games

They need to put the win/loss situations for the presentation. In every game I watched today, a screen popped up showing what would happen if this team won today, and what it would take to put them in the playoffs(what other teams had to lose or win)

these are all great great ideas. I don't think Collinsworth needs to go, his comments are typically hilarious, he just needs to be expanded. The problem, is he needs a dynamic playcaller to make it *feel* like a real game. Collinsworth is there for the color, and he does a good job with that IMO.

I'm not a Collinsworth fan...I'll admit that. But I do agree that EA's poor audio editing skills make him even more intolerable than he is IRL.

I 2nd the sentiments of the guys who said EA should take tips from NBA 2k10s audio/overall presentation.

However one thing I would like to note - the FOX/CBS/NBC license is not necessary in order to have good presentation. 2k10 doesn't have it, and it still has the feel of a real NBA game to me. Harlan and Kellogg do a good job of bringing the right emotions at the right times. (Though they do overdo it at times) But I'd rather have a commentator who overdose it ala Gus Johnson than a total bore like Tom Hammonds.

If I were making a wish list, I'd bring in someone like Mike Tirico, Jim Nantz, maybe even bring back Al Michaels. Heck anything would be an upgrade over Hammonds. Collinsworth could stay or go, just as long as the sound editing and overall emotion is better is my biggest gripe.

I know I'm not the only one who finds himself having to call his own big plays in order to bring real emotion to the game.

I'd say it would take the better part of three or four days...maybe a week. Not really much time in the grand scheme of the Madden process. I mean, it's not like you have to go out with a digital camera and recreate anything. You'd just have to slap up a banner or something where there is space. And there are only 32 stadiums.

Then again, this is a company who still hasn't recreated every NCAA stadium after three years on next gen systems. lol

Again, you have no idea what you're talking about. This is the problem with this forum; "You" think anything is implemented in "three or four days."

There's testing that's involved, stadium upgrades, what if scenarios and completely random glitched coding that occurs. Not to mention stadium specific location/placement, colors, text size...

You simply have no idea how long something like this would take. You can make it generic and people would complain.

I'd rather them take on the adage "if you aren't going to do it right, then don't do it at all" then half-*** something just to say it's in. That's what I've seen other games do and I'd rather them spend time fixing the LOS or anything else they're working on than something of this magnitude. Fix the game of football first, including the ambiance, then add these little things in later.
