How do you defend passes over the middle?

I control the MLB. Jon Beason hits hard enough that they usually drop passes over the middle lol.

What works for me is Man/zone with double spies "lbs" dropping into the middle

That opens up the sides though

Inside coverage comes down to the abilities of your interior defenders, your ability to confuse the QB, the ability to get pressure, and your manual control ability if you are doing so.

I still struggle more with throws to the flats... but that could be just because I usually use PIT and they lack team speed overall on defense. I can't man up LB's with RB's very often.
