Cheap Slants and Middle of the Field Passes

I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone who complains about the CPU beating you consistently over the middle. Anyone watch the Packers vs. Cardinals game yesterday? Yes you see that on Sundays.

The slant and crossing patterns are hard to defend in real life so I'm glad EA made them hard to defend in the game.

Except for the minor detail you clowns are missing out: LBs just staring in wide eyed wonder as recievers pass through them and ignore that fancy spiraling object known as a football, being thrown right into the teeth of their zone coverage.

Nice try though.

Fools.

Crossing routes take time in real life and should take time in the game. The receivers all run as fast as possible, without the turbo, and stop on a dime on every route regardless and it makes it so man is next to useless and zone is a little better but still bad. Blitzing gives you mixed results because if two or more players enter each others' "bubble", it knocks them off heir course and they spin around or jog in place.

Fools? Really? Did you watch that game? It was 60 minutes of crossing routes and slants with players who should have been in position. Fools. You have me rolling buddy.

Just noticed the Knicks avatar. Are you more of an NBA fan than an NFL fan?

Re: Cheap Slants and Middle of the Field Passes

What they need to do is allow us to shade receivers inside or out so we can jam them accordingly. If they did that then I could position my corners on the inside shoulder of the WR and jam him thus killing the slant but at the same time if I guess wrong and its a go route then Im in real trouble. Madden had this years ago, but like other features, it was scrapped from the game for some unknown reason.
