On-field player chatter

This is kind of on the coattails of the announcing thread…but not quite the same so I created this one. Does anyone else notice the players' on-field dialogue between plays is much more limited in '10? I remember around 07-'08 or so, when there was a pretty good variety of entertaining talk amongst the players. Now it seems we just get around 3 or 4 standard and canned comments:

"We gotta do our jobs, we gotta do our jobs man!"
"Lord how mercy!"
"If we don't make a play, we not gonna win!"

And the one that always baffles me - "You going for the two?" I swear hear that at least once every possession. Why would a team go for a 2-pt conversion on their opening drive, or for that matter, every drive?

And besides that, I'll be damned if I'm a defender and asking someone that before they even cross my end zone. Talk about defeatist mentality.

Mostly heard it when I paused the game. Interesting choices for the chatter. I know one of the soundbytes was from LT during a playoff game. Nothing is funnier then that "gingerbread man" one, has anyone heard it?

I always hear "Get ya Swagger up" so stupid!

They gotta get some better stuff next year
