So I watched the halftime show video and it said that Donny Moore is a ratings czar. So what kind of qualifications (ie background, does he watch film, did he coach?, etc.) does he have that makes him a ratings czar? This is an honest legitimate question.

It's just a nickname his co-workers gave him because of the amount of work he does with the ratings. He probably got the job because of all the film he watches.

He prolly just got it cause the old ratings guy was fired or left and they needed to fill that spot

I think Dan Patrick actually gave him the nickname during a radio interview or something. Then our GM at EA printed out business cards for him that say Ratings Czar. More of a running joke than anything.

He was appointed to the position by President Obama. Being that he didn't have to go through the confirmation process required of cabinet members, he becomes a Czar rather than a Secretary of Madden Ratings like most appointments.

For the record, I'm the "Could you tell Ian" Czar.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that. I was like "WTF? Ratings Czar?" lol. To be honest though, I know he works hard on the ratings. I know he was on the forums last year getting input on players and what not so that was cool. I know we(the community) affected the CB's ratings and more specifically, Mike Mitchell's(Raiders) power rating. Still, ratings Czar? lol.
