Tattoos?

I believe full customization is something far off. Imagine custom hair styles, hair lengths, tatoos, skin tones, and even how many veins you see running thru a guys arms. I already have my ideal player:

Dreads like Al Harris
Tatoos on foreams, upper arms, and one on the neck
Veins like Vernon Gholston
Built like P. Willie

Yeah, he would be a Lawrence Taylor like LB

I read some forums (sorry can't remember where, possibly here) that the NFL dictated they couldn't have tattoos when they signed the NFL Exclusive License deal. They wanted to keep the image of the league as clean as possible. I don't know if this is true or not (if it's bull, the someone please correct).

If this is true then its a pretty dumb way IMO to "keep the image clean." I wouldn't think that allowing a videogame that represents the NFL to have tatoos on players' arms would taint the league's image. I mean we see players covered with tatoos when we turn the games on on Sundays anyway. Personally, I'm not much of a customizer myself (those little details or lack thereof don't bother me), but if other people want a greater level of detail I don't understand the NFL's problem with it.
