Yep.

The runner began the "I'm being tackled" animation before contact was made.

Probably had the tackling slider up as that's what that slider tends to do (make the "tackle sequence" start from farther away)

Or, in the spirit of the video, the tackle slider increases Skynet's vigilance and hostility in response to ball carriers in the vicinity of it's patrol drones (defenders)

Patrol drones, interesting choice of words. It's like robot football out there! Yet some folks like to self "jedi mind trick" themselves into looking over this stuff. It's not like the movie, people. Saying "I didn't see a hideous morph" doesn't mean it didn't happen.

It is funny how the AI warps the gampeplay in situations where it doens't want you to succeed. Usually when you have a sizeable lead, it will manufacture pressure, bad routes, and better defensive positioning and press coverage length.

At least the video was humorous instead of a groan fest about the glitches.
