The ratings should determine how successful the player is (compared to the ratings of the player he is blocking). I would like to see a OL chemistry rating and a play knowledge rating added.

It's so fun in NFL Head Coach. The Redskins released Chris Samuels for cap reasons so I picked him up. He ended up anchoring my O-line and helped my rookie RB lead the NFC in yards. He also made the Pro Bowl.

This lead to better Pro Bowl selecting and actually made the O-line important.

Anything to make evaluating the O-line better is good by me.

Avg rush yds per block would be hard to get accurate, imo. How is the decision to "give" yds to the lineman/men done - especially with backs that cutback or when blocks downfield occur?

NFL HC did have some great stuff. Even the defensive stats had passing defended stats like how many times the defensive player was thrown to and how many catches he gave up. How many td's and maybe even the avg yds per catch

THIS. Terence Newman was 91 overall, but he allowed 56% of passes. Had to bench him. The results were good.
