BCV and PRC - impact after all?
In the QB Vision thread, it's been mentioned that BCV helps determine how well the OL opens holes for the back (and maybe impact blocking for the ball carrier in general?) and PRC is what helps make defenders a force on the field instead of being lost.
I don't think I've ever seen the impacts of those ratings play out like that. I remember when I was testing my sliders, I note some good plays and check the guys' ratings and there seemed to be no rhyme or reason in regards to PRC. In fact, that's one of the things I was trying to get to show through my sliders but I never succeeded to my satisfaction.
So if these ratings do work - I guess it's back to sliders? But has anyone else noticed a dramatic impact - or even a noticeable impact in non-simmed games? I know there's an impact that was mentioned in simmed games about BCV (it was one way some got the simmed stats for HB down).
