I can't remember what video, but there was a couple different game play clips with very different lighting, including a late day game with long shadows from a setting sun.
And one of the devs mentioned he hadn't implemented the "improved lighting system" yet. Although I'm not getting my hopes up, it's still a possibility.

Re: Progressive lighting?

Well - now its almost June.

So is Progressive Lighting implemented into Madden 11 or what?

Anybody seen/heard/learned something new about it that they can share?

Re: Progressive lighting?

I'm not even going to hope for this, last year I was convinced progressive lighting will make it, but didn't. It's EA...bottom line

In the past year I've lost most if not all my confidence in EA. Only the FIFA team can be proud of themselves, the rest must be ashamed

Re: Progressive lighting?

There will be a new lighting system for Madden 11.

No word yet on if it'll be progressive though. I really hope that it will be.

Re: Progressive lighting?

Everything I've seen suggests that progressive lighting is not in again this year.

That sucks.

If true, that's too bad. I like the idea of starting a Monday Night game at dusk and ending at night like on television broadcasts. A 4 hour long sunset just seems unrealistic to me, but then that's just my opinion.

Re: Progressive lighting?

i do not know if progressive lighting is in but i do know that all the staduim lights are not on all the time.in previous maddens you could play a day game and the helmets would reflect there lights if you look at some of the screen shots you can see that there off, of course some or on but that was not the case last year they were allways on no matter what.
