Field size?

Just got madden 10. Does the field size seem smaller compared to ncaa 10 or am I seeing things? Also, I hate how you can't make 50 yard field goals

I think the field in madden 10 is fine to me. ?? You can't make a 50 yard FG in Madden 10. 50 Yarder is easy to make. But with madden 11 new kicking system it might be more hard to get it in Madden 11 then 10.

Field has always looked "weird" to me on this gen, can't really put my finger on what exactly that is, but yes it just doesn't look "right".

I always wondered too about the goalpost crossbar. You have guys "dunk" over it to celebrate TDs, but during gameplay it looks like the guy would have to have a 5 foot vertical to get up that high, just doesn't look "right" I guess.

I think the field size is fine.

With 50 yard field goals, I think there is just a huge discrepency in range of kicker ratings.

Some kickers can barely make one from the mid 40's and some kickers can blast 55 yard FG's with ease.

Field Goals, the mechanics and the way they are handled in this game are one of my biggest pet peeves.

ok, just wondering. Because NCAA just looks wider and a bit longer. Thanks anyways. But other than that I love it

I never really noticed before. Maybe I will look, you may be right.

It also could look that way due to NCAA using the wider hashmarks.

Haha could be. Sorry for all of these questions, but here's another one. Um, when I sprint it seems like he's not moving fast at all. I thought it was a controller issue but I tried it on NCAA and I played a game of COD (you know, the R button), and it was fine. Checked the controller settings and sprint was R. I hope someone else could be having this problem

Well with the new kicking system it's going to make kicking FGs more interesting in madden 11.
