Double Contracts

OK, so I re-sign all of my young players for about 1 million a year on avg. and then I trade away all my old players. Not only do I have to keep the entire contract of the player I traded away not just the bonus I also have to take the entire contract of the player coming in. Any way I can clear the 40 million $ debt from this?

You should make a request in writing

there's only 4 solutions to your debt (2 which will prevent it from happening again),

1) let cpu manage ur sign draft picks & free agents so cpu will sign them for the minimum amount (release players if necessary to clear up cap space
2) stop signing players to big contracts and trading them away
3) stop trading away players with big contracts
4) turn off salary cap
