What the blocking needs is the ability to set double teams. Kind of like the player assignment with WR/DB, it would be nice to set two guys to double team certain players. That's what makes guys like Haynesworth, Mario Williams, Julius Peppers, etc. so effective. They command double teams every down, which creates gaps somewhere else

I expect to hear "Hot Blocking" as a new feature so we can double team DE's and DT's on the fly pre-snap.

Not until E3 by the looks of things. Probably live chat next week on run blocking and then blog pass blocking then live chat then E3 is just a week away.
