Re: could madden 11 be incredible?
I think it could be.Not since NFL 2k6,before EA snatched the rug out from under me,have I looked this foward to the release of a football video game.
Going back and looking at the things they added in Madden 10,really gives it a John the baptist type feel.Madden 10 was ok but you get the sense it was preparing the way for something much better.
Next-gen Madden has received alot of deserved criticism for overlooking the small details that can make a big difference in a game.In Madden 10 they addressed alot of little things that didnt have a huge immediate impact but will make for a better game in the long run.Uniform patches, uniform fixes, indiviual player uniform replicating, correct field art, opening week thunderbird flyover, hand warmers, towels, refs deliberating, fumble piles, players lobbying the ref for a call, open field TD escort celebrations, players helping each other off the ground, players slow up off the ground, injured players leaving the field either solo, with trainers help or carted off,lasting-injury limps, progressive injuries, rilvary games and special game recegnition(Monday Night,Sunday Night and Holiday) are just some of what Im talking about. Also, the pregame, halftime and recap shows along with the upgrades to offline franchise and adding a online franchise.
When you couple all they started in Madden 10,with the positive news thats being released about NCAA 11 and Madden 11,I dont see why anyone would question if Madden 11 could be incredible. The question is, how incredible could it turn out to be?
