Madden 11 at CD plays better than Madden 10. Madden 10 played better than 09 did [except pursuit angles.] Madden 09 played better than 08 did. Madden 06-08 were relatively unchanged. Madden on last generation in some ways still plays better than it does in M10. Granted, the slower game speed is really nice and the graphics are 100x's better.

I guess what is funny is that even cherry picking plays, they still can't find a play that "looks nice." Nice looking plays in M10, and prior, are far and few between. Part of the problem for years were targeting issues. The central game play guys, from what I understand, have been going in and working on these targeting issues and doing a good job so far. Just look at the run blocking blog.

I'm looking forward to the demo. Rarely, if ever, does game play differ from the demo and the retail copy. Unless I hear otherwise, if I am not happy with the demo I know I won;t be happy with the retail copy. I was "happy" with the CD build [keep in mind the CD build was very rough.]

I can speak to "Early Builds" being different from the game's final release. When I went to CD for Madden '09, there was an early build that I liked better than the final version. The hits on it were BRUTAL when receivers jumped in the air...

I was salivating... But those aggressive hits didn't make the final build. Probably a good thing. Some of them would have had people crying that "Death" wasn't one of the available injuries.

And the TROOF in this video is that he made a bad throw. I throw back shoulder fades, fades to the back corner of the end zone... All kinds of throws.
