Ummm....No Blog Today?????

Well, it's Wednesday and 6pm EST. There's usually a blog out by now. I didn't see anything posted about a live chat or anything sooooooo....... anyone know what's going on? I just hope that they are not doing a live chat on run blocking. Do we really need it? How many questions can you have about run blocking lol? I can only think of one, what difficulty were the vids set on and I'm pretty sure Ian already answered that one by saying it's on rookie. Anyway, anyone know what's up with the blog? I don't follow twitter or anything so there may be something I missed.

I thought the going pattern thus far was every other week and I thought there was one last week.

Yeah, but usually "dewiel" would post a link to the live chat, but he hasn't showed up this week and besides, like I said before, how many questions can you have on run blocking? It seems like there's not really much room for discussion there.

Also, NCAA started talking about Dynasty yesterday. I figured Madden may wanna start with some Franchise news today.

I read a tweet earlier this week from one of the dev team saying there was a live chat they obviously just didn't post here. No love for OS.

don't know about the blogs for Madden. they could still be on a every other week thing. NCAA just started doing what seems to be a weekly thing(since the draft event, I think it's been weekly or close to it), but NCAA releases a month before Madden.

as for the live chat, there is one tomorrow for Madden blocking according to their site.

WTF? What is there to chat about? This isn't some new feature or anything. It's run blocking. What kind of questions could you possibly have about run blocking? I have a feeling tomorrow's live chat will be the worst live chat by far. I can see the questions now:

Q - What difficulty were the vids on?
A - rookie

Q - Will the blocking be the same on the harder difficulties?
A - Yes

Q - Has anything been done on defense to counter this new run blocking?
A - We looked at video of each teams run plays and got insight from real offensive coordinators so that we could accurately recreate the blocking schemes

Q - Huh, that's doesn't answer my question at all. I would like to know why the defensive guys just stand there?
A - Question not submitted to devs

Q - Why is the run blocking vid on rookie?
A - Question not submitted to devs

And so on and so on. Oh well, I guess. **sigh**

I think Ian actually answered that question on twitter, saying that they wanted to emphasize the "new blocking feature".
