Bring passing cone back.

I voted yes as well, especially if it was a choice online. Like I would set my "play now" settings to have passing cone on and only play people who always have the passing cone option turned on.

No need for the passing cone during normal games.. Would be better to use on SuperStar mode as QB.

Hell yea bring it back. I felt like it gave a new challenge and sort of "personality" to the QB's. Obviously I know "casual gamers" don't like the cone cause it's too difficult, so just bring it back for us hardcore guys and you can even leave it off on default for online games too. Everybody wins in that situation.

I voted NO... AS IN NEVER...

This has got to be the most idiotic thing ever added to Madden... The QB's were stroked out because they had no peripheral vision, the lighthouse effect made the QB seem to have super powers, and it seemed no one else on the field saw anything because they had no cones.

I stopped playing Madden for 2 years because of the cone. I also wrote a college paper about what was wrong with it.

I love the cone. That was really innovative and it made awareness tangible. Some mechanics just have to be represented in a "videogamish" manner. This was a brilliant idea. I wish it would come back.

I voted yes, but there is a caveat.

I loved the cone originally and I would much rather have the cone than what we have now, but I think it would be even better to have the passing view of Backbreaker.

If EA does ever license Euphoria for Madden, and I really hope they do, they could change the camera for all other situations, and move it out a little so that you can see a little more of the field if they must, but leave the QB view alone. Although I like the BB camera as is, it is innovative and puts you more in the shoes of the player and in the action than the traditional views, but I know that it's not for everyone. For passing though I think it is pretty much perfect. Allows you to look at receivers without a "flashlight", since so many people hated that. It also doesn't allow you to see the rush completely so you have actual fear of being blindsided. In other Football games, there is no blind side.

Long story short, I voted yes, but I am in favor of any mechanic that simulates looking at receivers, and looking off defenders, to pass. Whether that is the Vision Cone, an improved take on the VC, or another mechanic entirely.
