Superstar Mode update

I just found this:

Madden 11 Superstar Mode To Feature GameFlow

Published May 19th, 2010 by GoMadden | 1 Comment
******** type="text/javascript"> // <' + '/script>'); })(); //]]> ******** charset="utf-8" type="text/javascript" src="http://gomadden.disqus.com/get_num_replies_from_wpid.js?v=2.2&t=span&wpid0=3557&wpid1=3143&wpid2=328"> With EA’s recent announcement of GameFlow for Madden 11, many have been wondering exactly what role the new football video game feature will play in other aspects of the title. Today, we might just have confirmation of its inclusion in the popular Superstar mode.

Gaming site Beefjack is reporting to have received word from EA that players will be able to run GameFlow plays right from Superstar mode. Superstar mode, for those that do not know, is intended to be a recreation of what it’s like to be an NFL player on the field, and as such an engagement method such as GameFlow sounds like a perfect fit.

GameFlow is EA’s latest venture toward realism, which allows players to have plays called directly from the sideline for them to run based on situations, rather than spend their time fumbling through the playbook. While this isn’t too far off from how Superstar mode has already been working for the past few years, it should stand to be a notable improvement in presentation for sim fans of the upcoming Madden NFL 11 video game.

It better not be all about playing again this year. This mode could be so good with things like:

- Better draft combine
- Contract negotiations
- Fight to be the starter
- Off-field media (interviews, newspaper, sponsors etc)
- More in-depth free agency
- A new way to get traded. Not just I want out.. And boom your traded

I'm sure theres many more that you guys have read..

Re: Superstar Mode update

Superstar was sooooo tight on the last gen. On the next gen it's been garbage. They took virtually every feature. No more interviews, what the ****? Part of being a star NFL player is doing a bunch of interviews. They took out endorsements too, another important aspect of being an NFL superstar.

I really commend these guys for trying. At we can tell they are half ways listening and making improvements. This will probably clearly be the best SS mode of the next-gen.

Re: Superstar Mode update

I kind of forgot SuperStar mode was even in the game at all until I saw this thread.

I think I last played it in '06 on PS2.

I bought The Show '09, I still need to play Road to the Show and see what it's like. Is it better than NCAA's Road to Glory?

Ya it is by far. Its a really fun and realistic mode. It and the show 10's mode are practicly the same however.
