Trailers.. ooooh yay! Come on guys, can we PLEASE stop getting excited about marketing tricks?!

I sometimes feel like OSers are becoming less focused on the things that really matter - gameplay footage, primarily. Not some cinematic crap put together by EA's cronies.

I don't mean to offend the OP or anyone excited to see new trailers for a Madden game, I just don't want people to get their hopes up after seeing footage that isn't from the view of an actual gameplay camera/game situation.

Agreed to an extent, it's all rookie level and nothing is gamestyle, all is closed in replays. remember last year with the Kellen winslow stuff? - that was the trailer right?

While I understand your sentiment, you have to let people do as they please. While a trailer seems to be a waste of time in your opinion, to others it's good to finally see something. Gameplay footage is (finally) on its way...what's wrong with those who equally anticipate a trailer?
