EA's NHL game has won 19 awards in the last few years. And I'd imagine FIFA has won a few as well.

Yep....I should have worded it...FIFA has won it's "share"...rather than "a few" Because I didn't know the award count off the top of my head.

FIFA does have competition. There's a real battle between FIFA and PES. It's PES isn't it?

**** Next-Gen Madden. In my opinion EA ran better with absolute competition. They had to focus on more things at once. They had to pressure to work harder. They had to fix things that they would ignore today because 2k was starting to kick the **** out of them. If I were a dev for EA i would suggest letting 2k come back. Rejuvenate the Madden series!

imo -the Best Maddens the past 10 years...

01 - launch PS2 version.. spent sooooooooooo much time watching videos leading up to the PS2 launch.. *drools* thinking back.
02 - ability to swat at balls with different arms (L1 = Left hand. R1 = Right hand) Also Afrikan won the first Madden West Coast Championship here in California
03 - built on 02 and improved it..
04 - probably the best overall, Stadium builder...and much more...sure it had glitches....but when you played it within the rules...great game.

did not like 05....hit stick was nice...but it seemed like they gimped the offensive play to make the defense look better.....also the graphic style started turning cartoony compared to Madden 01-04...

liked 06........loved Vision Cone.

2013? damn it. this contract needs to end now. i think 11 might be a good game. but i want a great game. and competition is the only way it can happen, imo.
