I thought it was pretty cool for the start but they need to figure out a way to expand it for the future if they use it again. I had a blast with NCAA's last year and that was the first time I tried online dynasty.

No. Offline is extremely important but i do not play online franchise or much online at all. This whole we're only focusing on gameplay and don't care about you franchise players from EA is a real kick in the groin. This is the least i've ever looked forward to a Madden game ever.

Right now i think i'm more concerned about NHL 11 than i am with Madden.

Its mind blowing to see all the new things being introduced in NCAA dynasty but nothing at all in Madden.

Online line franchise is the ONLY reason I'm still playing this game. I usually quit playing madden around March. Sad to know they didn't do any big upgrades to it. At least add a salary cap to it.

offline franchise stinks, and i refuse to play madden bus wannabe's online, so yes..it is.

If there was no online franchise mode, I wouldnt bother playing the game.

I say no because Ive tried a few and could never finish one, I have work, school, and a life, so do my friends, and we can never get together to play a good online franchise. Most games get simulated, and I could just play offline franchise for that.

I didn't buy it last year because of the watered down Online Franchise and I won't be buying it this year for the same reason.

I could not care less about anything online related- I don't even touch any of those modes. The only reason I've stayed playing Madden all these years is OFFline Franchise mode.

Since neither franchise mode is getting much attention this year, Madden 11 is going to take a step back from all the progress it made with Madden 10. I still play Madden 10 and think its decent, but why would I buy a roster update this year, especially when every other sports game (esp. MLB the Show) improves leaps and bounds every year?
