This. I'm fairly certain that Ian and Co. are responsible for 360/PS3, not Wii...with that said, and with the target demographic for the Wii game being so different from that of the "beefier" systems, I dare say this is a good addition to that game. It makes it more cartoony sure, but it sure adds some depth and something new to it, don't it? It's more than "play game, simulate rest of week, play game." Can't fault them for trying something downright whimsical and engrossing for kids who just happen to be football fans.

Madden on Wii is terrible anyway. I tried to play last years and the controls made no sense to me.

Haha I don't know whats worse; the idea of a town changing on the progress of the game, or the fact that they stole the idea for Assassin Creed 2?

It does make sense. NCAA 11 had time to make some pretty significant improvements. Madden didn't improve much.
