Re: Pretty concerning video of Tebow abusing Protak in M11

Looks to me as if the guy trying to make tackles was using the Strip button for every attempt except the first guy that dove and missed. Tackling with Strip is the easiest wat to get run over or give up yards on a broken tackle.

Nothing odd here...

Definitely a possibility but whether that is the case or not, it's Tebow not Adrian Peterson running away from Lbz and through DBs.

How inflated are Tebow's attributes for him to be able to do that.

I'm half with you on this one. Blocking is about maintaining position in relation to the ball carrier... It is impossible to block defenders without relative position.

If there is an issue with blockers changing direction, it should be because the blocker can't see the ball carrier when he makes adjustments to his path... They shouldn't change direction just because the back changes direction.

Nothing wrong with blockers TRYING to maintain relative positioning to the ball carrier. There IS something wrong to them reacting to ball carrier movement without actually seeing the ball carrier.

Well this is oviously on rookie or pro difficulty, and considering tebow has such high trucking that would be very easy to do on one of those settings.

They don't have to be inflated... And all but one missed tackle was the result of running thru an attempt to strip the ball. ANY PLAYER CAN DO IT vs ANY DEFENDER going for a strip.

Remember, when a player is attempting a STRIP, he's NOT trying to make the tackle. He's grabbing at the ball. It just so happens that SOMETIMES a player going for a strip makes the tackle instead...

it's not about the ratings, or the position, it's about the technique used to make the tackle. Strip Tackling is how Madden simulates POOR TACKLING TECHNIQUE. These tackles were all strip attempts EXCEPT the dive at the very beginning.

It doesn't take high ratings to break a strip tackle. All it takes is pumping the Sprint button while tapping up on the right stick to simulate PUSH against a half-hearted defensive effort.

NOTHING ODD ABOUT THIS PLAY...

????

210% disagree with you. It didn't look like they were trying to strip him. At all. Simply put, this play sucked.
