We are not a special group of guys but many of us here are working adults. That's why I started coming here: to communicate with people I could better relate to rather than the kids and tourney guys running the EA forums (or at least they used to run it).

With a lot us being working adults, some with families and other obligations, we can cling to offline franchise b/c we can play that mode on our time. We don't have to join a lobby or lock into an online game only for something else to come up and have to abandon the game. That's why I feel there is a concentration of offline franchise gamers here and the results you get will be skewed and imbalanced.

I understand. I agree with that as well. That's the same reason why I stopped reading the EA Madden forums, so I understand your point. I posted the same thread over there so we should get a good idea of what "outsiders" think as well.

Cool. I personally think that the polls will be very similar. I'd say about 90% here on OS and maybe 75% or more on EA and general public. I just think franchise (and Online H2H) are probably the most played modes in the game.
