Madden 08

[Unforgiven]

Eh, 08-09 were absolutely terrible to me. 06-07 I play from time to time just because the movement is so different from now and the players, despite some of them being roided up, look so real. But 08-09 just sucked.

08 was wayyyy top gimmicky with those weapons, the player models all had weird arched backs that all looked awkward, and everyone moved like squirrels.

09 was actually worse to me. The only good thing about it was the ability to break tackles after contact. Besides that, it was FULL.. FULL of warping, and superhuman DB's and linebackers. On top of that, the grass was all out of wack, it was all pale and bright. Sounds small, but it made the game look awful. Only Madden I could never see me going back and playing.

Madden 08 is fun if you like the weapons and such. I actually prefer 09 as the best Madden next gen.

I really liked the weapons system idea even though I thought it wasn't really used correctly. The choppy frame rates sucked, as posted earlier.

I actually agree as far as fun factor on next gen, Madden 08 was the last Madden I really got into. It was pretty fun online before every one learned to spam RC and just use the Patriots.
