Re: Show or no-show?

It was awesome, like the first three times I saw it.

I got so sick of hearing "The number of plays ran in the first half was almost even."

Re: Show or no-show?

I agree with the OP, if they took it out and didn't substitute it with something better or new; than they took a major step back.

You have the freakin ESPN license and not use the presentation aspect that makes football so great is a waste. And people wonder why that other companies' old video game still gets talked about so much. They seem to get the whole picture about NFL football

Re: Show or no-show?

I completely object the "so terrible they should just scrap it" crew.

While it wasn't perfect, having some kinda show was better than nothing. I hope its still in but I doubt it.

Too quiet, thats a bad sign this late.

Re: Show or no-show?

Presentation is overrated. Just makes the game unnecessarily longer.

Re: Show or no-show?

I never watched the Extra Point. Not only because it was bad, but because I wanted to get right back to the action. And I'm not even sure I would watch a halftime show in a football game, unless it had a lot fo depth and wasn't the same old thing every time around.

Re: Show or no-show?

Have we even received conformation that both are still in the game?

Re: Show or no-show?

Although a feature like that would hold absolutely no relevance to myself personally, it was one of their most promoted "improvements" to Madden 10.

If it is the case that they have just scrapped it completely after one year, then that reflects VERY poorly on EA.

Re: Show or no-show?

this needs to be taken out of the game. its absolutely terrible. i personally enjoy that the madden team adds terrible things like the half time show and the small amount of ref animations (so little you can memorize them all in a few games)

and yet the gameplay. physics. and pretty much everything that matters gets left untouched
