If you get to close to centering the stick the ball carrier does the hesitation stutter step and stops running.

Without the ability to use proper analog control for a ball carrier, the 'auto sprint' function is practically worthless as it only masks the lack of control we currently have.

Madden 10 didn't have the new locomotion.

Auto-sprint all the way for me. No more magically shedded blocks due to the sprint button.

I will have to try them both out when I get the game.. If it's true that you can adjust how fast your player runs based on how for you press the analog stick, then I will probably use auto-sprint... Otherwise I just have to try them both and and get a feel for what works best for me..

Re: Auto Sprint or Turbo Button?

I'm so accustomed to using the RT as sprint, it's gonna be different having my right index finger free.

DOes Madden confirmed. this?
Becasuse from what i understand, autosprint is that the cpu decides when to sprint and when to run without it.

You don`t have control over that.

it`s not a L sensitive as you are explaining.

Re: Auto Sprint or Turbo Button?

Autosprint, in my estimation, is that it takes into account acceleration...you can press up on the L stick all day long, and you'll reach top speed....when you're supposed to. As opposed to previous Maddens where holding RT would make you go top speed instantaneously...

I'm going to have to load up my NCAA demo to test out pressure sensitivity though...

However, auto sprint for me.

Me too fellas. I hate when people just sit on the turbo button anyway. Auto is easily more realistic.
