Pls tell me this is possible.

Used to be.. Think it was Madden 08 that added that feature (Only 1 person though could be invited and I think it was vs only)... Madden 09 and on the feature was gone.

How is it a revolutionary feature? Just curious. I mean it's cool and all that I agree but revolutionary I wouldn't call it. Now maybe if we could do dynasty games together it would then possibly be on the corner of revolutionary street....

Also you wouldn't believe the amount of people who take what you call a minor thing like lighting as a MAJOR thing.

Bottom line is not every gamer has the same order of importance in games.

Don't lots of other sports games have online team play as well? If it's been done before, it's not revolutionary...but I see where you're coming from. Lighting to some may seem like window dressing whereas OTP can be some meat and potatoes...real substance...

But as was said before my post, importance is different for each gamer.

Re: Madden NFL 11 Blog: Online Team Play

It is revolutionary for football games but not for the genre. As Skyboxer said, a lot of us play to have fun and playing against another human can be stressful. When you lose of course it's obviously stressful but even when you're winning you can wonder if the other person is getting upset or if you've done any, what they may consider, "cheese".

That's why I'm going to love this option so much and will probably use it a lot. You can fire up a football game and play vs. the computer stress-free. After all, no one should feel any guilt about beating up on the computer. I know I sure don't..

Re: Madden NFL 11 Blog: Online Team Play

OTP IS revolutionary for MADDEN-youve never been able to play 2-2 or 3-3 online...im not an online guy, i was 5-1 in M10 online...i just believe OTP will add a entire new dimension to madden, and has been grossly overlooked by the community...I mean, 10different swagger complaint threads and 0 threads on a great new feature? IMO the "community" is way off base...
