By generic do you mean generic designs that don't match up to real tattoos? Or just some color smeared where there should be a tattoo? I can see how both would save time and be fairly easy to implement, but both would look horrible in replays...and while I'm not too terribly concerned, others are...and I'd rather EA do it right if they are going to do it...

Tats aren't in for the same reasons that Tech Fouls aren't in the NBA titles. I don't know about the White Devil and all, but right before the NFC Championship game the NFL sent their army of Lawyers to New Orleans and surrounding areas to tell t-shirt makers that they could no longer put WHO DAT on their shirts because the NFL owned the phrase. Yes, the phrase the fans came up with in the 80's and all of sudden (Saints became winners) the NFL owned it. I love the NFL but it is alot about the $$$.
