Hitch while running?

I know this is really late, but I just picked up my Madden 10 that has been sitting for a long time now, and I noticed that when you are running the hitch is still there.
If I remember correctly when the game first came out it was not there.
Then they did a patch, and it caused this animation hitch to occur.
Generally I do not see it till a guy is in the open or about to get open.
Basically it look like a broken animation or something every couple frames or so.
I am not sure how else to explain it other than the animation is not smooth, the guy hitches, goes back to the normal animation, then hitches again.
Its just really odd that it is nearly a year and this was not fixed.
Well maybe there is a fix and I just do not know about it.

Supposedly it's due to the animation loop, but that doesn't explain the player slowing down during the loop. They have added 50 yard run animations this year, so the hitch should be 100% gone. From playing NCAA 2011 demo, I can tell you that I never saw it, and I had a TON of break away runs.

I think they put it in to help the CPU stop big runs by your players.

Thank you for your responses. I hope that it is gone this upcoming year. Its just odd that they did not fix it in the most recent updates.
