Re: Hope this helps more than it hurts
Man I hate the way the CPU does contracts. Levi Jones was completely out of a job and on the street until the middle of last year when the Redskins rolled the dice on him. He had the potential to be one of the best tackles in the league but he went south in a hurry after Jared Allen handed him his head in KC three years ago.
There is no way he should be able to demand $7.19 million on a 1 year deal. By comparison, Walter Jones, a Hall of Fame caliber tackle, would have earned $6.2 million if he played this year. The real Levi Jones played on a contract from the Redskins that was worth $745,000 last year.
I like the Evans pickup, interior blocking is very important in this game if you want to get some running game going, but in real life, no GM would give up a #1 for a guard. Even at 90, he's worth a 2 at best... more realistically, a #3. I know that the CPU gave you no choice. That's why we need compensatory and futures picks.
But you did what you had to do. Jones and Evans are an upgrade over anything the Bills have, but it's a shame that the AI's logic forces you to grossly overpay.
